CODED PIPE WELDER

SPIRE is seeking an experienced Coded Pipe Welder for FIFO work in South Australia – Apply Now.

This is a casual role for a Coded Pipe Welder located on-site, FIFO from Adelaide, SA. The Coded Pipe Welder will be safety focused and responsible for welding pipe of various metals using MMAW, GTAW and GMAW processes, ensuring high-quality welds in line with industry standards. Fabrication of various structural and other components may also be required from time to time.

  • FIFO from Adelaide within South Australia
  • 2&1 Roster
  • 12 hour Day Shifts
  • Trade qualified – Boilermaker/Special Class Welder or relevant qualification
  • MMAW (Stick), GTAW (TIG), and GMAW (MIG) Welding skills
  • Experience working with various materials (carbon and stainless steel essential)
  • Ability to interpret and follow welding procedures, codes, and specifications
  • Demonstrated experience in pipe welding
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Relevant welding certifications or qualifications and ability to pass 6G weld test
  • Experience in the infrastructure, resources, or energy sectors is preferred
  • Prior experience working remotely is preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Pre-employment medical screening (including LABDAS)
  • National Police Check
  • Driver’s Licence
  • Construction Safety Card (White Card)
